This is special Model 2, made in the late 1970’s, a few years after the shop selected this “Ivorite” micarta to replace Delrin. We have a “Commando” shaped handle, typical for this model.
The hand forged 6″ blade is the least common of the sizes available, and is in beautiful unmolested condition.
A Maurice Johnson Model “B” sheath with a unmarked salmon stone in the pouch, the earliest version, completes the package.
This is really a great example using the Westinghouse material, with a somewhat uncommon blade length. It is in mint condition, and it would be difficult to find a similar and/or better example.
