This is a great knife for the collector, an uncommon low “S” model 4,  that  was made circa 1964. It is unused and unsharpened.   What makes this knife even more uncommon, is the fact it is a field knife. With the vast majority of production devoted to supply soldiers in Viet Nam, field knives took a back seat. Plus, stainless steel was not used a bunch making field knives either.

Near mint condition save for a few  light marks. The 5″ blade has a Johnson Rough Back with correct stone. Difficult to improve upon this example.
