This is a super “Gamemaster”, made in the late 1970’s. Developed by Bo and Gary as an answer to folks  calling for a “lighter” Model 19 style blade, the Model 23 “Gamemaster” is the result.  Originally introduced in 1972, this fine design has received a good following.

The hand forged Stainless Steel blade, has a stamped Randall Made Knives logo, and the blade remains unused/unsharpened.

A handsome piece of mellowed Sambar stag feels nice in the hand. The Nickel Silver escutcheon plate is etched “TOM”. Not a distraction, but could be removed if so desired.

A Maurice Johnson Model “B” sheath with a salmon stone stone in the pouch, completes the package.

Overall this Model 23 has some nice options,  and is in superb condition. t would be difficult to find a better example from the period.
