Absolutely mint low “S” model 16. The blade is name, location, and date factory etched as seen in the photos.
This is the “Back in Black” model with a mint factory dyed sheath. I believe the sheath to be waxed also. The sheath is correctly marked and there is feint evidence that the owner’s name etched on the blade is also stamped on the rear of the sheath. It is very small and just above the Randall logo.
The 7″ blade shows no marks of any kind, and is as nice condition as any from this period I have seen.
Handle is some of the early black micarta that takes on a green hue.
Unlined thong hole is correct, and there is a black leather wrist thong.
Impossible to upgrade.
