Circa 1977-84 Westinghouse yellow micarta – Ivorite – model 1-7 in mint condition. This is the original paper micarta that started it all. This material retains its original color with little if any darkening which is common to this material over time. This piece came from the original owner.
The Ivorite handle is blemish free showing a beautiful grain and a slight drop.
The double Brass hilt is backed up by a thick center spacer arrangement of the period.
The 7″ stainless steel blade is untouched with no blemishes of any kind that I could see.
The Johnson rough back sheath is near mint with only light signs of the hilt marking the throat.
Stone is the first edition orange that is unmarked.
