Very nice Viet Nam War era Solingen Model 14. Stainless steel marked at the ricasso as delivered from Germany, and also etched with the Randall logo and an “S”.
Typical “squared” brass hilt of the day
The early black micarta handle was called “veined green” by Bo, and is often misidentified as brown micarta.
The blade is in remarkable condition and exhibits no use and doesn’t appear to have been cleaned or buffed.
The waxed riveted sheath is of the old style and is hard like a piece of wood.
