Korean War Model 1 with Provenance - Photo

Very hard to find Korean War carried piece with excellent provenance

Product Details

  • Model 1-8 in outstanding carried condition! For some unknown reason, pieces carried in the Korean War seem to be the most difficult to find, even more so than WWII knives.
  • This Randall sports a named, full 8″ blade with a nice early 50’s grind. The knife does show use with some light scratching, but little evidence of any real sharpening.
  • Brass hilt, seven spacers, and a very nice full stag handle are topped off by the optional butt cap with a washer and nut.
  • This knife was featured in RKS Newsletter Issue 78, May 2008, of which a copy will be included with the sale of the knife. Also included is a letter from Mr. Stanley, copy of his DD214, and a large copy of a photo of Mr. Stanley in Korea with knife on his web belt next to his service pistol. It is one of the clearest and bright photos exhibiting a Randall knife in theater I have ever encountered.
  • This is a top shelf collector’s piece that you won’t see again.
