• This is an exceptional exmple of a stag handled model 1-8″ from the heart of US involvement in the Viet Nam War.
• The separate “S” stamped stainless 8″ blade is near mint with original grind and polish from the shop.
• Brass hilt of the day butted up to a seven spacer stack. All solid with no issues.
• The hefty stag handle fills the hand nicely and has a nice patina and uniform bark.
• The Maurice Johnson sheath is near mint with only the slightest signs of the knife being in the sheath. The leather is unused with the nape on the rear showing no evidence of use or even storage. This is the proverbial “sock drawer” item.
• A two-tone crystolon stone with white print rounds out this great ensemble.
