WWII Hunter - Awesome Blade Grind Excellent

WWII Hunter - Awesome Blade Grind Excellent

This is one awesome WWII knife with a larger than “normal” blade. Don’t get any better than this.

Product Details

  • This is one of the best WWII Hunters I have ever seen much less had my hands on. This knife is circa 1944 manufacture and in outstanding condition!!
  • The “normal” length encountered in WWII Hunters is around 5″ to 5 1/2″ that come in sheaths marked 6″. This knife is approximately 6 1/4″ and is in a sheath marked 7″. This is even more uncommon in a knife by Randall Made that is rare in any blade length.
  • The blade is in excellent condition with a few minor spots on the reverse side. It has original blade grind and polish. The blade has a bit more of an exaggerated upsweep towards the tip that most, a really nice look in the longer blade length.
  • The brass hilt of the day with the common five medium thick spacer arrangement are in excellent condition with no issues.
  • The leather handle is also in excellent condition with no problems with virtually no signs of use at all.
  • The Duralumin butt is tight without any oxidation and is capped by a brass washer and brass nut.
  • Period thong hole is there of course as is original excellent condition Soft Arkansas stone
  • The H.H. Heiser sheath is about is good as you can find in beautiful original condition with a nice color. Snaps work perfectly.
