Unused Wide Blade 1940’s 4-5″ Stag Deep Finger Grips

Man this one is a beauty, and makes you believe “They don’t make ’em like this any more”! It is rare to find such a good example of a 70 year old Randall. This knife was featured in the Randall Knife Society Newsletter #14, April 1992!

This model 4-5″ is in unused and unsharpened condition, very rare for this age of knife. It is the older style model 4 grind with a big deep belly. It seems the change in blade grind to a thinner style occurred in the late 40’s to early 50’s. Along with the deep belly is a long choil. The 5″ blade is a more manageable length for a field knife.
